CALGARY, ALBERTA

Millennium Films is proud to announce the release of the long-awaited feature film CATASTROPHE: Jurassic Park (With Cats). Written, directed and produced by 14-year-old Austin Andrews entirely on Hi-8 video, this parody was eight months in the making and features, in the role of the dinosaurs, Felix, Spy, Bubbles and RealMeow the cats; and in the role of the humans, Monica, Benjamin, Sandra, Meryl and Nicole the hamsters. There is also a special guest appearance by Gex, the gekko.

Armed with explosive special effects and exotic jungle sets, CATASTROPHE: Jurassic Park (With Cats) may well be the first great independent movie of the third millennium. When John Hammondeggs, a wealthy entrepreneur, invites two paleontologists to visit his new theme park on a secluded island, things start to go wrong — the park's main attractions, several genetically recreated dinosaurs, have escaped. As the death count grows, our heroes must stop the dinosaurs from reaching the mainland... and eating them.

Voices of the hamsters are provided by Neill and Derek MacRitchie, Alex Kenny and Meghan McQuade - all students at Vincent Massey Junior High in Calgary. Original music soundtrack, in full stereo, is by Arnold Faber and sound editing and recording was done at EMMEDIA with the assistance of Jim Goertz. The movie is 73 minutes long and no animals were hurt during its production.
