Catastrophe: Jurassic Park (With Cats) follows roughly the same plotline as the famous Michael Crichton novel, only with hamsters as humans and cats as computer-generated dinosaurs.

The movie opens in the Montana Badlands with a lawyer named Donald Generic visiting paleontologists Alan Rant and Eelay Saddle. He convinces them to visit a secret theme park created by John Hammondeggs, the man who funds Alan and Eelay's dig. They drive down to mainland Costa Rica to meet John and the other hamster who is going to test it out, Ime Milk'em, and fly out to the theme park (on a secluded island two hours from the coast).

From there a string of bad luck triggers countless problems that break out and threaten to take down the park.... and kill everyone on the island. Without any way to get off John, Eelay, Alan, Ime, and John's two kids must band together and run from the dinosaurs that have broke out and, at the same time, try to contact the mainland and stop a runaway freighter that is inadvertently serving as an escape vehicle for two Velociraptors that have decided they don't like captivity.
